Albunol is a small working town with all the local shops you will need. You will also find numerous tapas bars, who give you tapas when you order your wine or beer. It is a very traditional Spanish town with very narrow winding streets set in the foothills of the Sierra de la Contraviesa. You can wander through the streets to the town square and on further to the church sitting high above the main part of the town. Albunol and its neighbouring towns all have several fiestas throughout the year which are great fun, with everybody joining in.
